Our next publishing project ‘Sortie Sorted’ is a volume of postludes for general service use. We are therefore asking composers to submit pieces, in Sibelius format only, for this new series. The editorial board are looking for original pieces or postludes based on, for example, well known hymn tunes.
Whilst the big pedal reeds and the Tuba are certainly allowed to come out to play for this volume, we will also welcome submissions that are smaller in scale. As ever, we are keen for pieces that are playable by an average organist, up to grade 6 standard, in a key with no more than three flats or sharps.
