On Saturday 31st January at 19:30 there will be a very special ‘Battle of the Organs’ at Chester Cathedral where the resident pipe organ, a 3 manual Copeman Hart, a 3 manual Makin and a continuo organ will be played by Philip Rushforth, Benjamin Chewter, Geoffrey Wollatt and Nigel Ogden (The Organist Entertains). The BBC will be recording this event.
