We were delighted to meet up with so many new and familiar faces at Kingston upon Thames URC last weekend at our Roadshow. In 2021 we installed a Makin Windermere drawstop organ in church. We were open from 10:00 until 15:00 on Saturday and brought with us a Johannus LiVE III AGO, a Johannus Studio 380 and a Makin Rydal 2-25 organ together with a large stock of sheet organ music.
There was tremendous interest in all the instruments with at least one or two of them being constantly played on their own speakers or on headphones. Matthew and Keith have spent much of this week providing formal quotations for new instruments to customers.
There was much interest, and many purchases from the vast quantity of sheet organ music we brought with us. Perhaps more organ music for sale in one place in the capital for many a year.
With all the chairs moved to one side as the church was used as a polling station the day before, the incredible amount of space available made set up, and indeed the break-down both fast and easy.
