Steve Lanyon

Installation Manager, Steve Lanyon joined Makin straight from college in 1980 as an apprentice where he learned significant electronic skills when building organs of the day.

 Much of course has changed through the years and nowadays Steve spends time working with John Harrington and Steve Bell helping rebuild the latest generation of organs. He is perhaps best known for being on the road visiting customers during the delivery and installation of organs.

Working as part of a team they ensure that the installation process is smooth. They work together to ensure that all customer needs, requirements and expectations are met and indeed exceeded.

Steve lives quite close to the Shaw offices  with his long-term partner Shirley and over the years an array of cats and dogs in Rochdale.
